About the object
tavola is a flat serving board cut from a single sheet with softened corners. Its handle is not an added part but a slot taken out of the sheet: you carry it with one hand and can hang it on a hook in the kitchen.
The 320 × 220 mm surface takes a cheese plate, bread, fruit or a single dessert. Unlike wooden boards it holds no smell, stain or oil, so you can go from a garlicky meze to dessert on the same board.
Made from 1.2 mm AISI 304 stainless steel, it weighs 620 g. Food-safe, dishwasher-safe and, unlike wood, it never needs oiling. Brushed finish.
Designed in Milan, laser-cut in Istanbul with edges finished by hand. Batch and sequence number underneath; signed certificate in the box.
