About the object
vena is a long channel with a wing rising at one end. The incense stick sits in the slot in the wing and reaches out over the channel; as it burns, the ash falls along the channel and never reaches the table or shelf.
At 260 × 55 × 30 mm it is sized to catch the ash of a standard stick from start to finish. Its narrow form fits on a bookshelf, a windowsill or a bathroom counter.
Made from 0.7 mm AISI 304 stainless steel, it weighs 95 g. The channel wipes clean with a damp cloth in one pass and can also go in the dishwasher. Available in brushed, Nero and Gold.
Each piece is laser-cut, folded in one pass and finished by hand in our Istanbul workshop. The number underneath and the signed certificate in the box set it apart from the other pieces of its batch.
